Hi, I’m Ben.
I came to Atlanta in 2004 for college at Georgia Tech with the dream of being an engineer, but photography quickly became a hobby and then a passion. In 2016, after two degrees and ten years of being dually focused, I left engineering to start Ben Lipford Photography. I also married my best friend and partner, Rebecca, that same year. Our daughter, Emmy, was born at the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. I'm a huge nerd at heart and love all things video games, movies, fantasy books, and music.
I look forward to meeting you, hearing your story, and capturing the things you love the most in life.
My passion is to capture your favorite moments in life and tell the stories that surround them.

We are a husband and wife team based in Atlanta, Georgia. Ben does all the photography—that’s why his name is on the sign. Rebecca bakes cookies and makes things like websites, albums, cards, and gifts for our clients.
Our dog sheds all over the carpet and our kid tries to eat it, so that’s their contribution.
